About Trainer Benson Carroll:

Benson Carroll is an award-winning trainer with more than twenty years of experience teaching and training at all levels. Benson has experience riding in Europe and has worked with Olympic riders. He has coached students to the top in hunters, equitation, and jumpers and successfully competes in Grand Prix and at top hunter shows.

Benson expertly assesses each student's strengths and applies a program grounded in sound principles of horsemanship and excellence to help each student achieve their maximum potential.

Assistant Trainer Candace Allen:

Candace Allen began her career with Ventana Farm at the age of 16 as a working student.  She competed in hunters, jumpers, and equitation and as a junior also competed in the Grand Prix.  She turned professional in 2008.   

Candace credits Benson as her mentor and both teach the same principals, tailoring the program to each individual horse and rider and always keeping the safety and soundness of their horses as the number one priority.

Ventana Farm always has quality horses available for sale. Ventana Farm specializes in finding, importing, and training elite hunters, jumpers, and equitation horses. We can arrange horse shopping trips overseas and handle all aspects of buying, selling, and transport.
